Free Vista thru Windows Server 2008

Hi fellas!

I got a tip from a friend how you can get a full Vista version for free legally.. Download Windows Server 2008 (x86 and x64) from Microsoft.com
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...4C-A40E-4FD2-A0F7-32212B520F50&displaylang=en and burn the ISO to a DVD..
The trial is active for 60 days which can be extended to 240 days for each fresh install.. i already played Fallout 3 with DX10 and it rocks..

And here's me thinking Fallout 3 was DX9 only.... Still think it's DX9 only.

On subject, Kinda cool how they let you test it out, i'm sure in 60 days you could find out if it was the right OS for you or not huh.

It is DX9 only. There are no options for changing that. It's based off from the damned oblivion engine. An X850 pro can run it.

Heh, not at all. My old X850 Pro couldn't hardly run Oblivion. Medium 1024x768 was good. I can only imagine with Fallout.

Thought so as it runs on the Gamebryo Engine i believe. And no i have not seen DX10 options either.

So true, My friend with a x1900 is having issue's with it but maybe compatability issue's as OB ran good for him.

I hope they make Win 7 downloadable like this too. Then they will have my interest.

The reason it's downloadable is because there's an offer for Chinese students to get a free key for Server 2008 Std or Ent. I lived in China for 20 minutes to get myself a key
