Ok first off I started off with Crysis on 2 8800GT's in SLI I could not run any settings higher than normal or mainstream in crysis warhead . Then I went out bought a HD4850 ( after one of my 8800gt's died ) . Thinking I could up the settings with this card I tried high on Crysis card was glitch , stuttering and looked like a slide show ! set the settings to gamer in warhead the same thing ! Now after the HD 4850 card gave me red screens locked up computer and got extremely hot I took it back got my money and bought this NEW MSI N260GTX card and here is what I am getting now when I turn up the heat ( settings that is ) !
I maxed the game setting out very high in Crysis and I was expecting the game to act just like it did with the SLI'd 8800GT's But to my AMAZEMENT and SURPRISE it did NOT Same thing when I set the settings to enthusiast in warhead it is smooth fast and the eye candy is just some thing I have NEVER seen before NOW ! I am speechless , NOT one glitch stutter or any thing at all ! Smooth as glass this card Plows through the graphics like a tank ! Nothing stops it NOTHING ! With this card every thing has changed over night ! What was once impossible and unheard of is now done with out effort :rockout:
Took me so long to find out that Nvidia is the true leader took me too long to get this card now I am getting a second one just for kicks I am sooooo sold on this card !
If any one has any doubts about this card I want to tell you this one thing STOP NOW AND GET IT ! Hands down best ever ! I don't care what any one says this card is the BEST !
Thank You Nvidia finally a card that can do what I want it to ! :respect::toast::rockout::rockout:

i have a comment... your card isnt overclocked enough :p... haha good to hear youre enjoying it. When i got my 260 i was stuck between the 4870 and the 260 and couldnt make up my mind.

I orderdered both, and i know what you mean, this card is SMOOOTH... the min frame rates are amazing. Clock the pants off of it. Also the card responds really well to lower temps (not so much to voltage) so i recommend putting some nice thermal paste on it and flashing the bios to a more aggressive (lower) maxtemp - this will give you more OCing headroom and it will still be silent at idle.

and yes... you could be happier if you had 2 of em :D /jk

You know what for now I am just so happy I plan to leave it stock for now . this is a monster of a card and I could not be happier with it . I will need some reference clocks to over clock with so I have to do some research on this but right now for now I will just leave it at stock . I think I will get a second one and SLI them maybe even go 3 way SLI ! :rockout: and push this system to the MAX!

I agree, if it's plain silky smooth then leave it at stock, OC it if you feel you need some horsepower :toast:

Hehehe, sounds like my reaction to the GTX200 series. I needed a GTX280 to play online with maxed settings on the TIA map: Battlefield. That particular map is my favorite and it will destroy wussy graphics cards with the viewable distance alone! Do we get to see any Vantage benchies or Crysis Warhead bench?

Hehehe, sounds like my reaction to the GTX200 series. I needed a GTX280 to play online with maxed settings on the TIA map: Battlefield. That particular map is my favorite and it will destroy wussy graphics cards with the viewable distance alone! Do we get to see any Vantage benchies or Crysis Warhead bench?

I don't know how to benchmark warhead or Crysis . and I am getting a low 3Dmark06 score or at least I think it is low .

I will try vantage and see what I get .

TRUE, even my FPS drops @ below 20 it doesn't seem to stutter but a little slowdown.
