Because, in 3D 05 doesn't include cpu test, and because it would crash if they use 3dmark 2006, which included cpu test

Pure marketing trick for enthusiast on a budget.

But really cool indeed :cool:

And this was done with just slightly overclocking the GPUs. The northbridge speed was also insane in the video.

BTW CrAsHnBuRnXp, i7 has a coldbug, it cant go so high. But it doesn't need to. Fast enough already... And Intel doesn't need that kind of attention, enthusiasts already know that intel OC's more than older AMDs.

If I said fanboy everytime I seen a remark "fanboyish" from either side Intel or AMD people on these forums I would have to carry a few extra sets of each of those keys.

I really don't think Intel cares too much, the i7 is a solid setup and they still have the top segment of the market which gives them the good name even though probably less than 1% of people buying processors even get a 965.

I wouldn't say they love volts more than anything else,, when your chilling something to -240C no matter what it is it would love volts, even a kitten.

They used 1,95V at the first time with LN2... Suicidal. The Deneb loves cold, not volts. But of course it needs some volts even in cold.

some folks on XS already pushed 1.99v through another chip. deneb does love volts to push the clock up

highest supported mobo voltages I've seen were 2.6v to the vcore. I guess you're welcome to try if the board will let you
