Trojan on TPU

I think one of the ADs that is on the front page may be carrying a Trojan. I recently rebuilt my system and with the exception of the onecare site I haven't even open IE. The first place I went was TPU once I was up and running and I was hit with a Trojan that onecare caught. I just thought I would give you guys a heads up. I think the ad that loaded was something with wight loss.

yup i have been geting the same warning message when i come on tpu thing for like 2 weeks now on avast it pops up and says abort conection

same here with Avir AntiVir Personal but it hasn't been happening to me since of the last two weeks.

Same here, haven't seen any warnings, using avast. Running a full scan with Defender. I'm using Chrome as my browser BTW

I did see a weight loss AD at the top of TPU, but i am not getting a message saying there is a Trojan from Avast.

It happens about 1 out of 40 times I visit the site. I check the site about 1-8 times a day because my job is boring. :laugh:

iv talked to w1zz about this a few months ago. i submited it to avast and talked to w1zz avast said their was nothing malecious about it it was a false positive. it just seems like its back....one thing you all have in common tough it reads the cookies and that is what the ads are based off of. if all of you or the majority of you see a weightloss add it might be because you went to web MD or like myspace were their are still images and the title gets cached and read by a rotating add.

I think its coming from www.we1woiea.com, i turned on my laptop(no antivirus), came to tpu and my browser froze up but the site it was last trying to connect to was this site and when you type we1woiea in google the first thing that pops up is this site

key words. like meta data on a site. search Solars or utility DVD or S17DVD and youd get my site...works on the same principle from what i understand. say you went to web MD

the add reads te cookies and picks up web...that add might display something about internet jobs or cheap server space.

now say you have a still image...say you go to a site...and its cached...and the title of an embedded pic is..calories...or fat..or weight loss...youll get a bunch of adds for. fat burning or stair climbers etc. Like MD may bring up an add for cheap lacik surgery or however you spell it.
