comes with a bernstein audio card, are they any good?
They are decent. Better than most onboard sound. I'm not really picky though.

the bernstein audio is the onboard codec u found on most mobos on a dedicated pcb.

as for the mobo, if u dont care oc, get the asrock 780gxe, is pretty good for the price and also is a decent ocer

I totally would but they seem to lack US support.. They update the bios and stuff but their website is a mess and it took a few mins to figure out where the bios were. What the hell, I might buy it. It's cheap and a proven clocker..

My friend bought that Jetway 790FX for 100$. Hes getting it on Tuesday along with a 7750 and I'll try and get him to join here. He didn't really have internet before but he told me he got a wireless card or something. I will have my 4200+ or maybe a 5200+ because it's a combo deal on newegg but I don't think I will have enough for that.
This 4200+ is a launch windsor from 2004(?) or 5 when ever they came out.. Was like 250$ or something. Glad to see it's still keeping up with todays stuff for sure!

I know my friend got that one but the PCIE spacing is stupid. Plus the onboard graphics saved my ass when my 4850 died.

Oooh that is nice!!!! 16+8+8. Very very nice layout too. It's too bad the 2nd and 3rd PCIe didn't have a slot between them tho.

I'll tell you what your going to do, you're going to buy my used Biostar 790GX A2+! I can't use boards with less than 4x PCI-E. Tell me what you want to pay and maybe we can agree on something.

Ok the jetway is back in stock but I have been eying this MSI board..
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813130191
I really like it. Plus MSI has better US support.
Ultimately.. I'm probably gonna go with what ever you guys suggest since I only have experience with DFI, ASUS, Foxconn and Gigabyte. I read stellar reviews on both, but I'm leaning towards MSI because of the cooler, server grade mosfets and support.

Good luck with that. MSIs are good but I had 2 boards failed in less than 1.5 yrs time, so they are no to me.

Jetway actually have good US customer service. I have called 2 times the support number in US and someone picked up the call in 1 to 2 rings. But don't expect good english speaking person, if you can understand half english then you have good support, just be patient with them. And oh for any details or bios updates etc go to the .tw site. Never ever visit their US site, its just POS.

Anyway I just called them to ask if a CPU would be supported, other than that my cheap $40 Jetway rocks, it even OCed my 5600 as good as $150 boards. So I would defenitely buy a Jetway if needed.

But for cheap and best boards I trust Biostar and hate to say ECS

What boards tho? I've noticed MSI's quality go up A LOT the past year or so. I wouldn't even think of buying MSI but I've seen many good reviews and recommendations from them. I also was doing some reasearch and they use server grade mosfets.. Plus the Jetway board is out of stock..
