Well the only temperature program that I know is accurate is Coretemp. Any other programs I should use?

I think Foxconn has software on the disc, and maybe Everest.

What are you using to test? Try OCCT 3.0 if you havent yet. has nice charts you can use for temps and things.

I used two instances of orthos with 9 priority for load tests. and I'm using Core temp and now OCCT 3.01 Also. OCCT and Coretemp read the same temperatures for me.:)

I've know about that site for a long time. The CCF seems to work good on Intels but for AMD it is absolutly terrible.

This is just a review I did becasue of the great reviews on THAT site. I wanted to compare my results.

Isn't the AMD setup similar to the intel, only you use a different clip to connect?

If so, it isn't that hard to connect, as long as you MAKE SURE that you are installing the SHORT side of the clip BEFORE the long side. The clip on the CCF does actually have one longer side than the other. It is only VERY slight, but it will make a difference which side you install first.

It was never indicated in the manual I got with it. I reinstalled the CCF 4 times and didnt get any temp differances and I used two different thermal pastes(AS5 and TX2)

I returned the CCF. I'm certain the reason for the bad temps was the way you have to mount the CCF.

Good to see the temps on that Xigmatek.
My CPU loads at around the same core temps at 3.7Ghz 1.488V.

Well right now... Nothing will read my core temps with my L3 cache unlock.
