Its been a long time.. and people still ask me "When is TK 1.1 going to be released?" The answer is very simple, when I have polished it enough, and perfected every aspect I am not happy with. This thread is to discuss anything TK related and where you can come for the latest BETAs. You probably all remember what TK 1.1 is all about but here is the Prologue;
The dreams are coming faster now... The Zone is inexplicably expanding, scientists are struggling for answers, and Stalkers are currently oblivious to the impending apocalyptic hell, thinking their worst nightmare is a well armed and armoured human. Things are like déjà-vu.. The same but somehow different. If only "they" knew what you do..

Some main features of Twilight K.E.T.
- NPCs throw grenades and can use medkits
- Helicopters that will attack you unexpectedly

- Sound overhaul ( you can now hear the crackle of campfires, the gentle patter of rain hitting rooftops and the ground, realistic sound travel distances for weapons fire, etc)
- Mutant "food chain". Occasionally you may see mutants attacking eachother, just like opposing factions, mutants also hate certain other mutant breeds.
- "Smart" AI. If you kill a faction member only the NPCs that heard or saw the deed will become enemies, not the entire faction. This excludes rules such as blowing a NPCs face off on main Duty territory. You will still be labelled as a murderer.

Whats left to do in TK 1.1?
Lots. The main thing at this time being the all.spawn file. I decided to move all mutant spawns to the all.spawn to have better control over them vs. scripting. The biggest problem with scripting is the game reads the script files on EVERY load, which means more and more mutants spawn in the level, to the point of causing the game to CTD. all.spawn editing gets around this, but takes a long time to do.
