I know TPU thoroughly reviews video cards and provides extensive details. What if we have a section for users to post Mini-Reviews. A simple rating system of 1-5 stars on four categories per item being rated would provide a simple review with further discussion in the thread. A few requirements should be met:
1 Pictures of the Card
2 1-2 Benchmark scores
3 Simple Rating/Review
Categories:
1 Appearance/out of the box impressions
2 Card design(layout/cooler/artwork)
3 Preformance-based on average mean from other similar cards(Overclocking optional)
4 Overall
A mini-review will give us the opportunity to become more active in the actual process in understanding how to accurately compare cards and say if they are good or bad. Plus it could be a good area to choose a good review when that time comes. Maybe the person who provides the best review could be nominated to become a reviewer full time? I'm sure there are plenty of people who are itching to have that kind of opportunity.
Discussion? Thoughts? Reviews?
