So i have been debating setting up one of these SSD Raid arrays that all the tech sites seem to be trying out. And Finally threw about 300 bucks at 2x64gb G.Skill drives in Raid 0. And thus far, holly shit balls. Currently I am storing all my media on a separate Seagate 500gb Cuda Drive, but running all the applications off this 120gb main array, and this thing...screams. Writing can at times be a bit sluggish, but nothing slower than my old drive. Reading...however is insane.
I been looking for a free app to bench the HDs and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions?
Seagate Baricudda
