Hey guys,

As some of you may already now my gtx295 had a defect, not a major one but a minor one but I still couldn't live with it.

Currently I got a Sapphire 4890, the fan sounds like a vacuum cleaner from 70% and up... ITS LOUD! NO SHIT! I thought people were crazy for saying 4850's fans were loud I thought this would somewhat be the same DB, I'm planning to OC this card but then again NOT if my card is going to sound this loud 24/7. It is louder than my gtx295, but gtx295 had its reasons for being loud :/ ....

Testing stock results now..

Get some aftermarket cooling slapped on it and be happy with the results.

Same cooler used on the 4870, to reduce cost, I suggest looking at Arctic Cooling, Thermalright, Thermaltake, Zalman, Xigmatek, ZeroTherm, Masscool

ok i think my PSU needs a change... its buzzing the same way and still has the fu**ING ARTIFACTS ... OMG.......... -_- *KILLS SELF*

EDIT: MY GTX295 DID NOT HAVE A PROBLEM, BUT IM STILL HAPPIER WITH A 24INCH AND A LESSER CARD THAT WILL RUN MY SYSTEM FINE.

Lol nah I just did some gaming, performance lost id probably around 10 - 15 frames in Crysis with the CD drivers. Other games already run at 60 fps so I'm happy because I got a bigger & sexier samsung monitor now

and not long til I can go crossfire... just need to buy a PSU first....

OH and its single GPU better WoW performance n such other advantages 1 core has over 2

. NOTE: I also finally have a legit copy of vantage LOL...... anyways there has been losses and gains.

If you have the 850w Antec unit and it isnt working as it should then RMA it and they will replace it with another unit.

Usually there's a void sticker over a screw that you need to open it, there is one on my Corsair as I wanted to change the fan.

Thanks Davek I never touched my PSU in a similar way so I should be fine, going to pack it up and change back to an old 550 watt PSU now :/

Void Tag over the edge of the chassis that usually covers a screw, you have to know what your getting into when you do that. Myself I Crack mine open to clean the fan once in awhile, if it does go out i have a spare here.

some of the products may need to be redesigned to fit the 4890 Properly due to the minor changes, Thats how Arctic Cooling VGA Silencer was at the time, Rev 3 Came about to support the Radeon 9x00 AIW boards

OK IM BACK TO SQUARE ONE, I don't think its the PSU, ITS MY MOBO ><! I switched PSU and its still doing the artifacting thing, the PSU im using is perfectly fine.. 550watt 40A ....

you want overclock , i see water is much for 4890 , good cooler will be enough my advice if you find sapphire toxic cooler i don't know if it sell alone but i know it have great performance , other wise newegg offer many good coolers
