Great review Pinchy!
![]() Would like to have seen a UV light thrown in to give that fan a pop. Also were temps taken with the thermal paste provided? Any chance you could run it under some MX2 or OCZFreeze or AS5? Just for grins and to possibly help the up coming thermal paste round up. |

Quote:
.I always test the samples with what they provide as that is generally what the end user will use with the heatsink. The GELID review is almost ready. I tested it on the stock heatsink though (small, lightweight, aluminum one) and with a high ambient temperature, to get the biggest margins possible. What I have tested are: What comes on the heatsink (pre-applied) Generic stuff Zalman ZM-STG1 AS5 Tuniq TX-2 MX-2 GELID's GC-2 and GELID's GC-Extreme Expect it to be done within the next day or two.
