Does it have any use though? Seems to only look "cool". How about some decent heatsinks on those VRM's? Or a large one.

Full Solid Cap Design

Improved reliability and better overclocking are possible by using only high-polymer, aluminum capacitors which posses far superior characteristics than regular aluminum capacitor for a longer product life. When operational temperatures drop by 20 °C, the product life span is extended by a factor of ten, when the operational temperature increases by 20 °C, the product life span only decreases by 10%.

I have now developed a new theory about this mystery "revised" Sapphire HD4770 card.

My theory is that Sapphire was planning on releasing a Vapor X HD4770 video card but then with 40nm production problems and fears of hurting current HD4800 sales they decided to snuff the card but were then left with the card and decided to sale them as regular HD4770s. So lucky me got the hook up on 2 bare bone top secret Vapor X HD4770s disguised as normal HD4770s. :nutkick:

I suspect that the new chokes are to reduce choke-squeal rather than to be "more power efficient".
