Trine: Screens and info.

Well this game was announced a while ago and its finally coming to Steam. Its an old school style platformer with a twist. Its a physics based and co-op. You have to work together as a team to survive. The game is indie developed and has some beautiful graphics as shown below. There is a demo available here. To me this game looks like a lot of fun and I urge you guys to try the demo out. If nothing else but for the eye candy but more to support indie games in general.

i like the demo, but needing a controller for coop is a bit weird. they did the same thing with shadowgrounds, worked well there.

In the future, it would be best if you made your own thread to ask the question - no ones going to come looking in this thread for a coop games list, so you wont get many answers.

Wow, that was a really fun game, but how does the multiplayer part work? It seems really only the Warrior is a competent combat class, the Theif can do a bit of combat, but the Wizard feels useless, granted he was a ton of fun to play otherwise. Wonder when the release date is.

instead of swapping between them, you play constantly as the one character. My guess is that it wont be as easy as it seems - the w1zard is useless against the skeletons but great for the puzzles, so i bet he'd do a lot of running away.

Yeah, I figured that, but that might make the wizard class a bit boring. I was kind of surprised it was only 3 classes in the game and not the average 4. This game kind of reminds me of Gauntlet though.

well as the w1zzle you can kill the skeles by making the boxes in the air above it, and remember he's needing for many of the puzzles/bonus potions.

Yeah, he's pretty fun to crush the poor skele's with, but the movement of the boxes is hard with enemys on both sides, wouldn't be bad for team play though. But it does you a bit of power to either keep making boxes or to keep moving the same one, and to move that same one gets really slow.

This is a really fun game though, I highly suggest this demo. I am sitting here wanting to play it more, but it's kind of short, hopefully the full version is out soon.

That MP trailer looks awesome, I was trying to find a trailer, but the steam site sucked, and I wasn't able to find nothing.

That should be interesting, the boxes are a bit hard to make quick though, I assume that flat platform will be a better killing tool.

update. :shadeshu update.

The game does NOT support 1360x768 resolution. 720p and 1080p are in there, but not 768p

many sades for me, and many other HDTV users.
