This is the 3rd driver that brakes Defense Grid - The Awakening. With 9.5, 9.6 and now this, the game is unplayably slow (10-15FPS on HD4890) with these. 9.4s are fine, though.

Have you reported it to AMD through a support ticket? May be worth doing that if you havn't already - they can't test every game and so may not be aware of the issue.

P.s. good find OP, hopefully this is a sign the official 9.7s are coming as i need the vista 64 ones

The "leaked" ones look to be the latest. I'm going to install the latest soon.

Official 9.7 drivers should be out soon.
