I've noticed when I post a link to newegg, it automatically changes the link to the title of the item.

I just wanted to say that is freaking awesome!

Are there any other sites that this feature works with?

Sorry if there is already a topic on this, but I couldn't find one.

edit: It works! I do wish that it slimmed it down to how we would list something like that, but I know doing that would mean going in and making a title for every single item and that's just too much to do. Pretty great feature for those who are lazy to link with text.

i added it a few weeks back, works only for newegg right now because their page titles are consistent

you can manually edit the titles to adjust them, the auto replace only happens when an url is pasted without text for the link

This is exactly why you make this site what it is! Most other sites would have made a news post on the front page, a twitter post, a facebook update, and sent out global emails patting themselves on the back about how great this new feature is. You on the other hand just silently improve the site and move onto the next improvement.

seriously if you sign up TPU as a partner the site will get commissions for all sales that were linked from TPU
I don't why not to do it Newegg already gets referals from here like 100 times a day

If you are going to do it for the UK then eBuyer would probably be the most used one.

I say go for it. The residual revenue could be used for server upgrades and/or hardware for contest's and promotions. Members currently donate their own hardware for F@H/WCG contest's, but it would be nice to offer newer/higher-end hardware with the help of TPU.
